Comsuption

There are numerous ways to make use of cricket flour. It can be used in cake, pastry, brownies or to refine bread, a quiche or pancake dough. You can even create your own pasta, empanadas, crispbread or tortillas with this exclusive ingredient.

For your breakfast we can recommend you mix some cricket flour in your muesli, in smoothies or as a special ingredient for your homemade bars or granola. There are no limits to your creativity. Cricket flour is rich in proteins and free from starch. Therefore, it can’t be the only basis for a dough but needs to be mixed with other flours. Storage

Store your insects and insect products in dark, cool and dry location in their package or in a closed container.

Origin

The insects are sourced from the EU and are breed for human consumption under controlled conditions. For the selection of the insect farmers, we pay close attention to the standards of animal welfare, organic feed that does not compete with human food as well as energy efficiency. The use of antibiotics, hormones or medicines is not tolerated in our breeding farms.
